I'm Yuri, a Senior Product Designer based in São Paulo, Brazil.
I design digital products in complex environments, mostly fintech and large-scale digital services, turning complicated problems into clear, useful experiences. Lately I also prototype and build with AI, getting closer to implementation.
I start by understanding the problem.
I combine research, data and conversations with users and stakeholders to see what is really happening. Then I move between strategy, UX, UI, prototyping, testing and design systems, always alongside product and engineering. At Brasilprev, that meant leading journeys like the end-of-plan pension decision (35% conversion) and the retirement check-up (abandonment from 70% to 42%).
AI as an extension of the process.
I use Claude Code, Cursor and Figma MCP to explore more ideas, prototype in code and hand developers a real starting point. Research, judgment and real users stay human. It's how I built an onboarding flow for a waste hauling company, from brief to a deployed prototype.
Curious by nature.
I'm curious by nature and calm by choice: a homebody who enjoys computer games, football and basketball. Becoming a father has been one of my biggest dreams come true. I like working with people who are curious, open to other perspectives and willing to build things together, and that's what I'm looking for in my next challenge.
